LARRY CHADWICK “CHAD” WILSON,
60 of Oneonta passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at his residence. Chad was born March 18, 1964, in Birmingham. He attended Minor High School until he enrolled in Lyman Ward Military Academy in Camp Hill, Ala. He was the Service Manager for Team One Toyota. He was an avid Alabama fan and a member of the Tide Pride. Chad was a devoted husband, father and poppi. He enjoyed cooking, espe- cially for hosting the family gatherings. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing at the Heritage Golf Club.
He is survived by his wife: Suzy Wilson; children: Seth Wilson, Ashley Gossett, Hunter (Brianna) McDowell and Carsyn (Peyton) Gilli- land; grandchildren: Breeley, Brooks, Charlie Grace and Gatlin; mother: Lavonne Wilson; mother-in-law: Janie Smith. He was preceded in death by his father: Leroy C. “Bunk” Wilson.
Funeral Service were 3 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the Oneonta First Baptist Church with Larry Gipson officiating. The buri- al was in Rock Springs Cemetery, Blountsville Funeral Home directing. Visitation was from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday at the Oneonta First Baptist Church.
Pallbearers: Chris Mullinax, Tim Willoughby, Gardner Gilliland, Tony Picklesimer, Chris Howard and Bill Wilson. Honorary Pall- bearers: Major Paul Tate, Doug Hinds, Chad Smith, Craig Pierce, Kyle Wilson, Jay Heron and Bucky Heard.
