Henry Earl Green

Henry Earl Green, age 82, of High Rock Community, passed away on Nov. 23, 2024. Henry was a member of High Rock First Con- gregational Methodist and worked as a car salesman at Thompson Motors.

He is preceded in death by wife Elaine Green; father Russell Green; mother Birtie Green. He is survived by son Barry Green; daughter Lisa Sloan (Scott); granddaughters Samantha Beck (Trey) and Allison Ragland (Hunter); great granddaughter Lainey Jane Beck.

Mr. Green lay in state at High Rock First Congregational Methodist Church Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024, from 10 a.m. until noon. A funeral service was held at the church be- ginning at noon with Joel Johnson presiding. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery. Asked to serve as pallbearers were Norman Alexander, Chance Fell, Dale Green, Terry Price, Jeff Sherrell, and Ricky Thomas. Honor- ary pallbearers were Henry Hinds and Lewis Thompson.
