MARGARET ANNETTE “ANN” PHILLIPS BRAND

MARGARET ANNETTE “ANN” PHILLIPS BRAND, age 82, of Boaz, formerly of Allgood, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2024.

She is survived by daughter Lisa Amos (Russell) of Sardis City; son Ronald Brand (Shelly) of Allgood; brother-in-law Kenneth Brand (Carolyn) of Boaz; sister-in-law Betty Lee of Trussville; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Nelson Brand; infant son; parents John and Elizabeth Blackwell Phillips; brothers Roger Phillips and Wayne Defoor; brother-in-law Perry Lee; and great-granddaughter Harper Wise.

Visitation was Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Allgood Baptist Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service was held at the church beginning at 1 p.m. with Gary Thrasher presiding. Burial followed in Tidwell Cemetery.

Asked to serve as pallbearers were Denton Brand, Adam Amos, Pat Sutton, Matt Wilemon, Adam Wise, and Chase Handley.
