PATSY ANN “PAT” CURL

PATSY ANN “PAT” CURL, 85 of Blountsville passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, at St. Vincent’s East in Birmingham. Pat was born April 29, 1939, in Tennessee the daughter of Arthur Leo Casey and Roberta Askew Casey. She was a graduate of Westend High School, Class of 1956 and was retired from the Birmingham News. On November 14, 1969, she married James Ronald Curl.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Ron Curl; children: Mike Gilmore, Don (Tracey) Gilm-ore, Sue Frazier, Patti (Mark) Tittle and Joe Gilm-ore; her mom: Novella Casey; sisters: C. J. Barnes and Sunney Casey; brothers: Steve (Wanda) Casey and Leo (Rebekah) Casey; thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, other rela-tives and many friends. She was preceded in death by a son: Bob Gilmore.

Memorial Service were 11 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Blountsville Funeral Home with Brother Michael Murphree officiating. The family received friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thurs-day at Blountsville Funeral Home.
