KATIE SUE THOMPSON SKILLMAN

KATIE SUE THOMPSON SKILLMAN, 81, of Oneonta, died May 20, 2024, at the residence.

Born Jan. 24, 1943, she was a graduate of Susan Moore High School and retired from BellSouth after more than 30 years of service. She enjoyed going to yard sales and thrifting.

Predeceasing her were parents John Harrison and Myrtle Blanche Noblett Thompson, husband Talmadge Skillman, and brother John Harold Thompson.

Surviving are son Mark (Melanie) Skillman, grandsons Talmadge Skillman and Harrison Skillman (Kayla Goode), and life partner Freddie Wade Vice.

To honor her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services. A private family burial will take place at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church at a later time.
