Allen William Waid

ALLEN WILLIAM WAID, 63, of Armstead, Ala., passed away on April 23, 2024. Allen was a grad- uate of Locust Fork High School and a member of Welcome #2 Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by parents James Abram and Vera Odom Waid; brothers Bennie and Mack Waid; nephews Donnie Waid and Jamie Henderson.

He is survived by sibling Glenn Waid of Bre- men, Geo., Valra Henderson, Jesse Waid, Lorene Hill (Eddy), Anita Woods (Dale), Ida Sue Moore (James), Opal Owen (Greg), and Karyn Turner (Brad); a host of nieces and nephews.

The family received friends on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Lemley Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. A funeral service was held in
the Chapel beginning at 11 a.m. with Bro. Johnny Allred presiding. Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery. Asked to serve as pallbearers were Terry Waid, Brandon Mooney, Scott Hill, Dustin Woods, Andrew Moore, and Brady Turner.
