Norman Lee Griffith

NORMAN LEE GRIFFITH, 91, of Pine Mountain, Ala., passed away on March 18, 2024.

He is preceded in death by wife Erma Jean Griffith; parents Andy Griffith and Eva Garner; grandchildren Adrian and Brandy Banks; brother Coy Griffith. He is survived by daughters Sandra Liddicoat and Cyndi Jones (Jeff); grandchildren Jason Banks (Emily), Lydia Eaton, Cayden Eaton, and Damion Banks (Mercedez); eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brother Ronnie Griffith.

The family received friends on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Lemley Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Mr. Griffith lie in state at Pine Mountain Community Church on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. A funeral service was held at the church beginning at 2 p.m. with Bro. Glenn Bynum presiding. Burial followed in Pleasant Mount Cemetery. Asked to serve as pallbearers were Gary Conger, Gerrold Clark, Aiden Griffith, Nicholas Griffith, Joe Presnell, Thomas Liddicoat, and Kevin Conan (Honorary).
