ANNA MARIE BAILEY

February 23, 2024

ANNA MARIE BAILEY , 65, of Wynnville, Ala., passed away on Feb. 17, 2024 surrounded by her twin daughters, Ashley and Maegen. Anna was preceded in death by her wonderful husband of 30 years James (Jim) Bailey and her dear father, Donald Lee Kaestner, Sr. If you knew Anna, you knew that the most important things to her in life were her relationship with Jesus and her family. Together, Anna and Jim owned a 40-acre farm and enjoyed making it their home. Anna’s favorite title in life was Mother. She loved raising her twin girls and the bond the three of them shared was like no other mother-daughter relationship. Anna was later promoted to the title of Nana to her beloved James Kyler and Parker. Her mission was to spoil them rotten and make memories to last forever. James Kyler always joked that another name for Nana was “Fun!” Anna was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher and GA leader for many years. She loved serving God and serving others. Anna will be deeply missed by her daughters, Ashley Horsley and Maegen Carter (Bill), grandsons James Kyler Carter and Parker Horsley, mother Adelia Kaestner, brother Donald Lee Kaestner, Jr. (Liz), boyfriend Ray Majors, special best friend Joyce Watkins, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and all that knew and loved her. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, at Union Hill Baptist Church at 1 p.m. with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Lemley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
