Mr. Harold Dean Hamilton

Mr. Harold Dean Hamilton, age 79, of Remlap, passed away Feb. 5, 2026. 

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Claudette Hamilton; daughters Tammy Hawkins (Glenn), Christie Ward (Marty), and Tanya Hamilton (Richard); sons Dean Hamilton, Jr. (Windy), Matt Hamilton, Shaune Hamilton (Stephanie), and Shannon Hamilton (Caissie); 20 grandchildren (with two granddaughters on the way); and 18 great-grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Edward and Lela Robinson Hamilton; daughter Cynthia Diane Hamilton; son Tim Jenkins; grandson Colby Glenn Hawkins; brothers Thewell and Sherrell Hamilton; sister Frankie Kisselovich; and mother-in-law and father-in-law Claude and Grace Robertson. 

The family received friends at the Pine Mountain Community Church Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, beginning at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. with Ryan Fortenberry and Bud Swindall conducting the service. Burial took place in the Gallant Baptist Church Cemetery, Gallant, Ala. following the service. 

H. Dean Hamilton Jr, Shaune Hamilton, Shannon Hamilton, Jacob Hamilton, Chance Hawkins, and Zachary Hamilton serverd as pall bearers.
