Jimmy Derrick Vick

Jimmy Derrick Vick went to live with Jesus on Monday, March 24, 2025. He was preceded in death by father Jimmy Dwight Vick; grandparents Roy and Jeanette Bodiford Vick, JB and Ruby Baker Pritchett.

He was the son of Jimmy Dwight and Paula Prittchett Vick. He is survived by a son, Tyler Justice Vick, age 28, of Cullman; mother Paula Pritchett Vick of Oneonta; brothers Darryl Clinton Vick of Oneonta and Brian Ashley and Haley Brannan Vick of Fairview; nieces and nephews Ashlyn, Connor, and Hadlyn Vick of Fairview; and special friends Pete Faust and Joel Stroud.

He graduated with a Master’s Degree in English and History. Teaching was a gift that he was so proud of. He loved helping students understand the Bible or history. He battled a bad heart and cancer most of his life until the end.
