Minnie Ella Dodd Laughlin

Minnie Ella Dodd Laughlin, age 84, of Pinson, Ala., passed away on March 9, 2025. She had a servant's heart for the women at the Lovelady Center.

 She was preceded in death by parents Willie and Vera Dodd, son in law Robert Bierd; brothers Arval Dodd, Ocie Dodd, Billie Dodd, Charles Dodd, Wayne Dodd; sisters June Hensley, Charlcie Harrison, Lela Jean Gard, Betty Mullins, Joyce Decker, Sue Bailey.

 She is survived by husband Roy Laughlin; son Gregory A. Laughlin; daughter Cynthia D. Bierd; grandchildren Joshuah A. Laughlin (Christina), Jacob L. Laughlin (Amy), Ashley B. Ravani (Vincent Brewster), Abigail N. Bierd, great grandchildren Olivia Bierd, Ethan Ravani, Caleb Johns, Natalee Johns, Millie Laughlin, Elijah Lawson, Raelynn Anderson, Scarlett Laughlin, Colton Roy Laughlin, Malachi Brewster, Miles Brewster, Maddox Brewster; a host of nieces and nephews.

 Mrs. Laughlin lay in state at Bradford Sanctuary of Praise on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. A funeral service was held at the church beginning at 1 p.m. with Bro. Jeff Noles presiding. Burial followed in Ebenezer Cemetery. Asked to serve as pallbearers were Josh Laughlin, Jacob Laughlin, Vincent Brewster, Rick Funderburg, Brian Bailey, and Wayne Dorman.
