Billy Morris Fowler

Billy Morris Fowler, 93 of Gardendale passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at St. Martins in The Pines. Billy was born April 19, 1931, in Blount County the son of Ed O. Fowler and Dora Daily Fowler. He was a graduate of J.B. Pennington High School and served his country with honor and courage in the US Army. He was a retired Postman for the US Postal Service and a member of Fowler Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Margaret Fowler, parents: Ed and Dora Fowler and his siblings. 

Funeral Service was 2 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Fowler Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Micheal Murphree and Brother Russell Pinyan officiating. The burial was in Mulberry Cemetery, Blountsville Funeral Home directing. Visitation was 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Sunday at the Fowler Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
