Dennis Edward Smith,

Dennis Edward Smith, age 75, of the Austin Creek Community, passed away on Jan. 30, 2025.

He was preceded in death by parents Okey and Beatrice Owens Smith; uncle Smokey Smith; brother-in-law Roger Naylor.

He is survived by wife Judy Brakefield Smith; son Daniel Smith (Renea); daughters Paula Bruce (Mark) and Rebecca Armstrong (Jerry); seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother Randy Smith; sister Betty Naylor.

The family received friends Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, at Lemley Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m..

A funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 3, 2025, at Lemley Funeral Home beginning at 3 p.m. with Terry Lynn presiding. Burial followed in Wynnville Cemetery. Asked to serve as pallbearers were J.D. Wiggins, Stephen Smith, Shannon Woodard, Court Morrison, Brian Smith, Daniel Lee Smith, and Chris McCallister.
