Diannia Lynn Young

Diannia Lynn Young, age 63, of Remlap, passed away on Jan. 9, 2025, in Oneonta. She was a loving nurse, faithful wife, devoted friend, and an amazing mother.

She is survived by her husband Bob Young; sons Robert (Nikki), Charles, Samuel (Sarah), and Jacob Young (Dallex); grandchildren Josh, Hayley, Lexi, Kaleb, Adrianna, Levi, Sammy, Lucy, Sariah, Scarlet, Darcy, and Jacob-Isreal; great-granddaughter Evelyn; mother Arlie Suarez (Sal); siblings Darleena Brady (Roger), Carleena Griner (Tony), Kevin Beaty (Murtie), Donald Beaty (Shirley), Juanita Rains (Frankie), and Alleta Stepp (Leon); sister-in-law Flonnie Beaty.

She is preceded in death by her father Clettis Beaty; brothers Jeffery and Ronnie Beaty; grandchildren Braxton and Sydney Young.

Mrs. Young lay in state at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. A funeral service was held at the church beginning at 2 p.m. with President Blake Huffstutler conducting.

Graveside service was held on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, at the Alabama National Cemetery beginning at 12:30 p.m. Burial to conclude.
