Randy Stephens

c, 72 of Blountsville, passed away Friday Dec. 27, 2024, at his residence. Randy was born July 4, 1952, in Blountsville, the son of Osler Stephens and Margie Ilene Lochamy Stephens. Randy was a graduate of Locust Fork High School. He went on to have a long career in steel work for Jackson Industries. He and his family owned and operated the Frosty Freeze in Blountsville for around 20 years after which Randy returned to his true passion of farming. Randy was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church.  

He is survived by his wife: Chasity Mead Stephens; daughters Sonda (Donald) Ellenburg and Falicia Stephens; son Russell Stephens; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Osler and Margie Stephens; brothers Curtis Stephens and Edward Stephens; and sister Jean Stephens.

Funeral Service was 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024, at Blountsville Funeral Home with Terry Lynn, Seburn Johnson, and John Fallin officiating. The burial was in Mt. Joy Cemetery, Blountsville Funeral Home directing. Visitation was Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Blountsville Funeral Home.  

Pallbearers: Donald Ellenburg, Dylan Norred, Charles Price, Billy Vaughn, Bradley Chamblee and Danny Stephens.
