NEAL WINDELL MILLER

NEAL WINDELL MILLER, 91 of Blountsville, passed away Tuesday Nov. 5, 2024, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice Facility in Albertville.
Mr. Miller was born Oct. 24, 1933,
in Blount County, the son of Clesbie
Miller and Ester Poole Miller. He
served in the United States Army
and retired from Ball Corporation
where he was a coding machine op-
erator. After retiring he enjoyed working in wholesale car sales and working on lawnmowers.
Mr. Miller was a member of Pleasant View Mission-
ary Baptist Church. He was married to Vener Boswell Miller, who passed away February 28, 2014. After her passing, he later married Mary Buchanan Millwood on Dec. 27, 2015.
Survivors include his wife: Mary Miller; son: Roger (Cathy) Miller; brother: Arlis (Glenda) Miller; sister: Faye Stephens; grandchildren: Jennifer (Jeremiah) Curry, Brian (Monica) Miller, Laura (Kevin) Jordan, and Hannah (Vince) Howard; great grandchildren: Jacob Curry, Isaiah Curry, Bailey Miller, Harper Miller, Grayson Miller, Charlotte Jordan, Jack Jordan, and Virginia Jordan; host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents Clesbie and Ester Miller; son: Ronnie L. Miller; brothers: O.T. Miller, Deon Miller, and Bobby Miller.
Funeral service was noon Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at Blountsville Funeral Home with Earl Harper officiat- ing. The burial was in Holly Pond Cemetery, Blounts- ville Funeral Home directed. Visitation was from 10:30 a.m. until noon Saturday.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice and Southern Care New Beacon Hospice for their care during Neal’s final days.
