Mary Helen Kilgore Robinson

Mary Helen Kilgore Robinson, age 89, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully at her home on Nov. 3, 2024, after a protracted illness.

Mary Helen was born July 24, 1935, at the home of William P. Kilgore and Minnie Belle Gant on Old Parrish Road between Jasper and Parrish, Ala. Most of her work life was spent as an LPN in hospitals and nursing homes.

She was preceded in death by her parents Nellie Lee Estes and John Thomas Kilgore; husbands Almost O. Kennedy Jr., James O. Gulledge, and Ellis E. Robinson; brothers Jimmy, Pinky, and Johnny Jones.

She is survived by her children Steven Kennedy, Michael Kennedy (Sylvia), Jackie Montgomery (Harland), and Jamie Gulledge; siblings James Jones (Annie), Bonnie Sanford, and Glenda Connolly (Dan); two grandsons and two great-grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in her name to your local animal shelter would be a generous remembrance.
