INEZ ADCOCK

INEZ ADCOCK, 91, of Blountsville, passed away Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, at the TLC Nursing Center in Oneonta. Inez was born Dec. 17, 1932, in Blountsville, the daughter of Ed Stidham and Nellie Faulkner Stidham. She graduated from J.B. Pennington High School in 1951 and later married the love of her life, Bobby Adcock. She worked in banking for many years and was Manager of Ashville Savings when she retired. Inez was a member of Blountsville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Bobby Adcock; daughters Pam (Michael) Martin and Renee (Bill) Connolly; brother Edward (Rose) Stidham; grandchildren Scott Martin, Meghan Connolly, and Patrick (Lily) Connolly; great-grandson Damien Connolly. She was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Nellie Stidham; brothers and sisters Sherman Stidham, Hazel Sprayberry, Avalene Adams, Herman Stidham, Doris Stidham, and Arnell Stidham.

Funeral service was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, at Blountsville Baptist Church with Randall Edmondson officiating. Burial was in Blountsville Cemetery with Blountsville Funeral Home directing. Visitation was at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time.

The family requested donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
