Michael “Fluffy” Swallows

Michael “Fluffy” Swallows, 67, of Oneonta, passed away peacefully on Sept. 9, 2024, at his home after a long, hard fought battle with cancer.

Fluffy was selfless, dedicated, and one of the hardest working individuals who always put the needs of others ahead of his own. He loved working for AG Peltz, working for them for more than 20-plus years, and was beyond blessed by his work family. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, offer words of comfort, and lived life to the fullest with the simple pleasures of life. He was Superman to his daughter Katie and the mentor and problem solver to his son Jereme. He loved telling everyone about his kids and grandkids, tending to a garden full of green beans and tomatoes, reading his daily prayer, and the Tennessee Volunteers.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Kim Swallows; son Jereme Swallows (Jess Swallows); daughter Katie Craft (Chris Craft); grandchildren Talan Swallows , Alec Swallows and Everett Craft; and extended family.

Without a doubt there was a glorious reunion in heaven with his mom and brothers. Fluffy will remain in the hearts of family, friends, and all of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
