Bobby Paul Frachiseur
Bobby Paul Frachiseur, 85, of Snead, passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Frachiseur; his children Charlotte Purpura (George Purpura III) and Jeffery Frachiseur (Kelli Frachiseur); his grandchildren Brittany Sanders (Matt Sanders), George Purpura IV (Alix Purpura), Ansley Frachiseur, and Adam Frachiseur; his great grandchildren Willa Purpura, George Purpura V, Cooper Sanders, Camden Sanders, James Purpura, and Jack Purpura; his siblings Jimmy Frachiseur (Marlene Frachiseur) and Faye Hullett (Travis Hullett); and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jewel Etoy Frachiseur and his father, William Paul Frachiseur; his brother Harvey Frachiseur; and 14 half brothers and sisters.
Bobby was a beloved member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church for more than 50 years. He was a dedicated employee at Goodyear for 30 years before retiring. He loved to stay active, and could often be found playing golf. He embraced his love for the outdoors, spending countless hours in his yard, mowing grass and tending to his garden. Bobby loved his family, and was often surrounded by those he loved.
Bobby’s family received friends at Snead Funeral Home on Tuesday, Sept. 17, from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. His funeral service was also held at Snead Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 1 p.m. Dan Boatman and Mark Jones officiated the service. He was laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were George Purpura IV, Adam Frachiseur, Matt Sanders, Kevin Peppers, Randy Osborn, and John Smallwood. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Robertson and Joey Grant.
Snead Funeral Home assisted the family.
