Keith Alan Dempsey

Keith Alan Dempsey, 53, of Oneonta, Ala., passed away on July 23, 2024.

Keith was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. He was an Alabama football enthusiast and loved taking the bass boat out on the lake. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and loving son who will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by father E.J. Dempsey. He is survived by daughter Peyton Dempsey (Wyatt Fabor); son Bailey Dempsey (Morgan); grandchildren Jake and Ella Dempsey; mother Linda Love; sister Sandy Bailey; a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dempsey lay in state at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. A funeral service was held at the Church beginning at 11 a.m. with Bro. Stanley Jones and Bro. Eric Stone presiding. Burial followed in Liberty Hill Cemetery. Asked to serve as pallbearers were Ryan Bailey, Riley Bailey, Trey Griffin, Michael Foust, Jesse Stephens, Barry Graves, and Jacob Graves (honorary).
