Doris Jean Terry Matson

Doris Jean Terry Matson, 72, of Altoona and formerly Oneonta, passed away on July 17, 2024.

She is preceded in death by parents Ernest K. and Vernon Louise Johnson Terry; son Robert Matson; brothers David Terry, Jack Terry, Bob Terry, and Ray Hodge; and sisters Jeanett Terry and Syble Hawkins.

She is survived by daughter Samantha Cain; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters Ruby McGowan and Sue Gutteriuz; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family received friends on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Lemley Funeral Home from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m.. A funeral service was held in the Chapel beginning at 2 p.m. with burial following in Oak Hill Cemetery.
