Gary Lee "Skeebo" Wilkerson

Gary Lee "Skeebo" Wilkerson, 67, of Straight Mountain, Ala., passed away on June 29, 2024.

He is preceded in death by parents Altie Elijah and Kay Frances Stone Wilkerson; brother Altie Eugene Wilkerson.

He is survived by sisters Janice Crisler (William), Deborah Wright (Wayne), Kathy Fassina, and Donna Lee (Larry); three aunts; a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Mr. Wilkerson lay in state at Samuels Chapel Church on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 11 a.m. until noon. A funeral service was held at the church beginning at noon with Bro. Freddy Keener presiding. Burial followed in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Asked to serve as pallbearers were Michael Wilkerson, Daryl Wilkerson, Jeffery Wilkerson, Byron Baldwin, and Greg Tolbert.
