He is preceded in death by parents John L. and Lucille Muncie Hedricks; sister Katherine Hedricks.

He is survived by wife Paula Crabtree Hedricks; son John Tyler Hedricks; daughter Kelsey Lynette Hedricks (Trevor Willis); expected grandson Kolt Willis; sisters Mary Beard (Will) and Elaine Washburn (Mike); two loving k-9s Millie and Max; a host of nieces and nephews; loving and helpful mother-in-law and brother-in-law Barbara Yarbrough and Kevin Gilliland; special nephew Levi Gilliland.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Lemley Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Moon presiding. Burial followed in Haney's Chapel Cemetery, located in Guntersville. Asked to serve as pallbearers were Kevin Gilliland, Levi Gilliland, Trevor Willis, Chris Chaney, Will Beard, and Danny Hineman.
